Today we worked on our compare/contrast chart for “Thank You Ma’m” and “Kindness”:

Students had a “cheat sheet” to help them break down the elements of each text.

1st and 4th periods worked independently; 5th and 6th period groups had the choice to work alone, with a table partner, or as a table group. Our goal was to complete the entire chart today.

Today we took the district 1st nine weeks benchmark assessment. These will be graded and ready to see in Infinite Campus after our fall break next week.
Students who finished early were allowed to begin working on tomorrow’s Quickwrite.
