All Classes

Today we began the 3rd Quarter benchmark test.  Our goal was to finish the multiple choice portion and constructed response.  Students who finished those two sections were allowed to move on to the argumentative essay.  We will complete the benchmark test tomorrow.

SmartWatches:  Reminder of Policies Regarding Devices with Texting Abilities

Smart watches allow students to access texts and other digital messages. Therefore, they fall under the same procedures as cellphones. Students must take them off and put them in the phone holder along with their cellphone. If a student fails to follow this procedure, the teacher will collect the watch and send it to the front office for the parent to pick up.  There is never a time in the school day when this type of watch is needed. In the classroom it is only a distraction. Parents and students are strongly encouraged to make sure the watch stays home.  We encourage students to leave them at home. They will be taking their watches off and on all day long, greatly increasing the chances of lost watches.
