Monday, February 24, 2020 Class Learning Agenda and News


Today’s Tasks  ALL CLASSES:

1.  Complete this survey for Poetry Tuesday.

2.  Complete this survey to help us get ready for our first argumentative essay (Links to an external site.).

3.  15 Minutes of Membean; we will take a vocabulary test a week from today, March 2.

4.   Choice:  work on your Poetry Tuesday presentation, work on the current or past due Actively Learn assignments, or read your library/choice book.

Poetry Tuesday Reminders

1.  Bring a printed copy of your poem–see me TODAY if you have not taken care of this.

2.  Bring your completed poetry reflections using the form I provided you at the beginning of Feburary.

    • Period 4:  Slotted Notes Gallery Walk for Types of Hooks/Attention Getters; form writing groups and assign your topic and position.  Begin reading articles.
