Period 8-1

1.  Today we worked in 15 minute rotations with Membean and reading time.  Half the class started with a 15 minute Membean work session; the other half read their independent reading/choice books for 15 minutes.   Students rotated activities so that everyone had 15 minutes of Membean practice, and everyone had 15 minutes of reading time.
2. I returned Quickwrite assignments from December; we put these in the Quickwrite section of our binders.
3. Remember to be reading your independent reading book 10-15 minutes nightly.
4.  You will need to complete a 2nd 15 minute session of Membean on your own time outside of class by midnight on Sunday, January 12, please.
5. Spelling bee tomorrow!

1.  Today we completed our new yellow reading bookmarks to set a goal for finishing our current book; this may be a book started prior to the holiday break or a new break.
2. We completed a “Current Read” ticket.
3.
