Period 8-1

  1.  Figurative Language Task Card Walk with Similes, Metaphors, and Personification–we will check and correct Monday.
  2.  Short Story Tasting/Preview and Voting
  3.  Students who needed to finish the Commonly Confused Words module in http://www.noredink.com did so; those who were done worked on Membean Vocabulary.

Period 8-4

  1.  Library book reading time.
  2.  Mid-Quarter reading reflections and self-assessment.
  3.  Students who needed to finish the Commonly Confused Words module in http://www.noredink.com did so; those who were done worked on Membean Vocabulary.

Period 8-5

  1.  15-20 Minutes:  Short Story Tasting
  2.  Vote for top story choices through Canvas/Google Forms
  3.  Students received notification if they should finish http://www.noredink.com or move on to Membean and library book reading time.
