Today students worked in assigned “Table Talk” groups to finish up our work with the short story “Thank You Ma’m” by Langston Hughes.

Periods 1 and 4:

  1.  Warm-Up/Ticket in the Door
  2.   Work in small groups to complete discussion task (15 minutes)
  3.  Large group share out (performance assessment grade).
  4.  “Important Passage” Ticket out the Door

Period 5 and 6

  1.  Warm-Up/Ticket in the Door
  2. “Important Passage” Ticket
  3.  Large group share out of both warm-up tasks (performance assessment grade)
  4.  Table Talk Collaborative Work—complete and turn in
