By the end of the day, all students should have completed these items we’ve worked on the last three days in class:
- Extended Narrative Story Writing Final Draft Reflections and Self-Evaluation
- Turned in all process work/hard copy planning and rough drafts for their extended narrative stories. We submitted these final drafts into Canvas this past Tuesday, September 17.
- 100% mastery of the NoRedInk module on Formatting Dialogue and Flow Quotes + Capitalizing Quotes Mastery Practice. Students should sign into their HallCo Google Drive account before trying to sign into NoRedInk via Google.
- Quickwrite Assignment–may be typed and printed OR completed by hand on notebook paper.
If your child has not completed these items, it would be helpful for him/her to do so this weekend so that they are not stressing/rushing to move forward through the Playlist assignment for our new short story “Thank You Ma’m” we are working on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Several students have already started the Playlist activities this week. If you are not sure if your child owes me any of the items 1-4 above, please email me at buffy.hamilton@hallco.org , and I can check for you.
