Today, all classes worked on these learning activities:
- Open note quiz on dialogue tags–these grades will be posted by Sunday at 8PM.
- Students finished the first story planning graphic organizer if they did not do so yesterday.
- Students started or completed a second graphic organizer of their choice (plot planner, storyline planner, or characterization planner).
- Students who completed their graphic organizers today were cleared to begin working on the story writing assignment. This assignment is posted in Canvas; students have a hard copy of the requirements. The Canvas assignment also has a slideshow to help student get started with their “hook” or lead for their story.
Students who did not complete the graphic organizers today need to complete at home this weekend and bring to class on Monday. 1st period students may have the first 20 minutes of class to finish Monday morning since their class period was just a little behind Periods 8-4, 8-5, and 8-6.
Progress reports will be coming out next week.
