Reminder: All of my classes will take the Scholastic Reading Inventory on Monday, August 26, 2019 to get a current assessment of your child’s Lexile reading level.
Today’s Summary
Period 8-1:
- Read Sections 4 and 5 together of “Raymond’s Run”
- Complete your individual reading reflections
- Individual, Partner, or Triangle Group Reading and finishing reflections for “Raymond’s Run”
- If you finish early, read your library book or see me to get moved into our class section for Membean Vocabulary.
Period 8-4:
- Complete Section 3 of your graphic organizer. Keep this in your binder for tomorrow along with the new pages I added to your graphic organizer “packet” today.
- Complete the Quickwrite.
- Return your copy of the story.
- Get a Chromebook.
- Get a copy of the neon “Best of Quickwrites” checklist. Read all the instructions at the top of the page! (Items 1-4)
- Go to Canvas and go to Assignments
- Complete your “Best of Quickwrites” assignment. Be sure to read all instructions for writing and submitting.
- Turn in your bundled Quickwrites with the neon sheet stapled to the top.
- If you finish early, see me to get changed over to our class for Membean.
Period 8-5
- Get a copy of the neon “Best of Quickwrites” checklist. Read all the instructions at the top of the page! (Items 1-4)
- Go to Canvas and go to Assignments
- Complete your “Best of Quickwrites” assignment. Be sure to read all instructions for writing and submitting.
- Turn in your bundled Quickwrites with the neon sheet stapled to the top.
- Finish your work from Wednesday on Sections 1 and 2 of the graphic organizer for “Raymond’s Run” if you did not complete it yesterday in class.
- Read Section 3 of “Raymond’s Run”Complete Section 3 of your graphic organizer. Keep this in your binder for tomorrow along with the new pages I added to your graphic organizer “packet” today.
- Complete the Quickwrite.
- Return your copy of the story.
- If you finish early, you may read your library book or see Ms. Hamilton to do Membean.
Period 8-6
- Complete the Quickwrite.
- Complete Sections 1, 2, and 3 of your graphic organizer if you did not do so yesterday.
- Keep this (your graphic organizer) in your binder for tomorrow.
- Return your copy of the story.
- Get a Chromebook.
- Get a copy of the neon “Best of Quickwrites” checklist. READ STEPS 1-4 at the top.
- Go to Canvas.
- Go to Assignments.
- Complete your “Best of Quickwrites” assignment. Read ALL the instructions in the assignment. SUBMIT your work in Canvas.
- Turn in your bundled Quickwrites.
